Visualizing Calendar Information with AR

Abstract

Augmented reality allows you to enhance your environment virtually with additional information. Wearable devices such as e.g. Hololens from Microsoft can be used to add virtual content without changing the objects.

The goal of this thesis is to use the hololens and visualize meetings at a specific position around a clock depending on their start time. You would not need to look at your calendar any more but instead see directly through the Hololens what meetings are up at this day.

The overall vision is to enhance everyday objects with additional capabilities without modifying them. This thesis is a first step towards that goal.
