Prof. Martin Zimper joins the MTC
A valuable addition to MTC's Steering Committee.
The Media Technology Center is pleased to welcome Prof. Zimper and his expertise to this initiative towards shaping the future of media technology.
Martin Zimper is Professor and Head of “Cast / Audiovisual Media” at the Zurich University of the Arts, Department of Design. Within the field of Applied Arts and practice-based research, Prof. Zimper works on prototypes “where audiovisual media meets social media”, experiments with emerging media technologies, creates new audiovisual media formats and video-based social media content.
Prof. Zimper obtained a PhD degree in Communications by the University of Vienna. Before starting the start of his academic career on arts and design in Zurich 2007, he worked as media entrepreneur and CEO of broadcasting channels in Austria.
